Looking for a way to use up your leftover candy canes? Make Candy Cane Hearts! They make great Valentine teacher gifts.

Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

- 4 large candy canes (you can use mini canes and shorter straws if you like)
- pretty straws
- Valentine sprinkles (or any pink and red sprinkles)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (I like the brands with no hydrogenated oil)
Directions:
- Place a piece of parchment paper on a cutting board.
- Unwrap candy canes and place ends facing each other on parchment paper, forming a heart.
- Position straw in middle of heart.
- Heat chocolate in a microwaveable bowl or measuring cup for about 30 seconds. Stir with a spoon until smooth. If not heated enough to melt, try another 20 seconds and stir. Try not to overheat, white chocolate tends to clump when too hot. If this happens, heat a tablespoon or two of milk or half and half for 15 seconds and stir into chocolate. It will get smooth if you keep stirring.
- With a spoon, drizzle melted chocolate into the candy cane hearts.
- Shake sprinkles on top.
- Let cool on the counter or in fridge. If you had to add milk, it will take longer for chocolate to set up.
- Give to someone special!
