This mint simple syrup is super easy to make and goes great in cocktails, such as the Thin Mint Martini. It also makes an especially fast and delicious mojito. (look for that recipe this spring!)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 20-30 fresh mint leaves
Directions:
- Bring water and sugar to a boil over med. heat. Turn to low and let simmer for a couple of minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
- Add mint leaves and turn off the heat.
- Cover and let cool.
Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
