This is a “rough” recipe, feel free to spice it up with more chili powder or double the whole recipe if using leaner meats, such as turkey. Start with this and add more when needed.
This recipe will replace one packet of taco seasoning. Use in Soft Tacos, Taco Soup, Fajitas and many more.
Happy Cooking!

Ingredients:
Makes enough for 2 cans black/pinto beans or 1 lb of ground meat (equivalent to one taco seasoning packet)
- 1-2 T chili powder (depending on how spicy you like it, I use just 1 T)
- 1 t. onion powder
- 1 t. dried diced onion (optional)
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 t. sea salt
- water
Directions:
- Pour ingredients into heated beans or browned meat. Add a little water, if needed.
- Let simmer a few minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Use in any recipe that calls for taco seasoning. Enjoy!
