Spoil your friends or the hostess at your next holiday party with this gorgeous gift. It takes a small amount of time for a big impression!
I made these before Thanksgiving and sent all my guests home with a bottle, to be enjoyed during the holidays.
This recipe was inspired from fancynapkinblog.com. Thanks for sharing!
Happy Gifting!!

Ingredients:
makes a 1 quart bottle (I found my cute bottles at Target, but Ikea had some good ones also!)
2 8oz bags fresh cranberries
2 or 3 limes
2 T sugar
1 quart vodka
Directions:
- Using a toothpick, pierce holes into the cranberries as you drop them into your bottle.
- Fill 1/4 of your bottle then add several small pieces of lime peel. Use a pairing knife to cut small pieces as you go (this will keep it from drying out.)
- Keep adding cranberries. Add lime peel every now and then so lime pieces are scattered throughout. Fill all the way to the neck of bottle.
- Add no more than 2 T sugar. The sugar cuts the tartness but you don’t want it too sweet.
- Fill to the top with vodka using a funnel.
- Put on the lid and slowly tip upside down and back a few times to mix the vodka and sugars.
- Give as a gift right away but let your givee know that it needs to infuse for at least 10 days and up to 4 weeks. Vodka can be topped off as the cranberries absorb it. Put a cute tag on it with a recipe of how to serve it (It’s good over ice or mixed with cranberry juice and a lime garnish. I’ll post some more recipe ideas as well. Check back!)
Cheers!
