This amazing sauce was inspired by my super foodie brother-in-law. It’s melt in your mouth delicious!
Try it on top of your favorite steak or on a Sloppy Philly Sandwich.
- 2 T unsalted butter **
- 2 T flour
- 1 1/4 cups beef broth **
- 1/4 cup whiskey **
- fresh ground pepper **
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over med. heat.
- Add flour and whisk for 1 minute.
- Slowly add broth and continue whisking. Sauce will get smooth and begin to thicken.
- Add whiskey and whisk till smooth. Cook for 1-2 more minutes or until slightly thick.
