This is a super easy crockpot dinner. I’m looking for a yummy homemade coleslaw to go with, and of course I’ll share it with you when I do!
I love making this when life has me busy and I don’t have much time to be in the kitchen. I often have it when we have guests arriving and we need to spend the day preparing in other ways for their arrival.
Happy Cooking!

Ingredients:
1 pork roast (about 3 lbs.)
16 oz. of Sticky Paw bbq sauce (or your favorite bbq sauce)
8 hamburger buns (I can’t find buns that are both healthy and tasty so I’ve been using potato buns until I find a healthier choice)
optional topper:
2 T unsalted butter
1 onion, sliced
Directions:
Add enough bbq sauce to cover the bottom of a crock pot. Add pork roast and cover with rest of sauce. Cook on high heat for 4-8 hours (crockpots vary) or until meat can easily be shredded with a fork. Shred the meat and let cook on low for 30 min. to soak up more sauce.
Serve on a hamburger bun. As an optional and delicious bonus, saute onions in butter and serve on top!
