Yay, snow!! So happy to be in my cozy Colorado home, watching those big beautiful snowflakes drifting down. Magical!
It’s the perfect day for soup! I just love soup on a chilly day. Add in the snow and my winter day is near perfect!
This split pea recipe is so easy….throw the ingredients in your crock pot and go on with your day. It’s so easy and yummy and a good way to get in some legumes. Split peas are known to have high fiber, helpful in lowering cholesterol and contributing to good heart health. They are also high in potassium and low in sodium. So, make some of this flavorful soup and Enjoy!!!
